I can't think straight

Conversation Scrivnerburg:
Kristi: "I can't think."
Mom: "I believe you think just fine."
Kristi: "Sometimes I think fine. Sometimes I can't think straight."
Kristi again: "Sometimes I think sideways."
Never has she made a more true statement.
